HRMDirect's task management module provides support for the creation, assignment, completion, and oversight of checklist items and deliverables required to complete the new employee onboarding process.

Assignment and Tracking
Tasks are assigned and associated with both the assigner and assignee, the person being onboarded, a due date, and a completion status. Recruiters and HR staff can instantly generate reports and task lists of current open tasks, tasks due today, overdue tasks, all tasks assigned to a specific person for completion, as well as all tasks relating to a specific individual being onboarded.

Templates and Workflow Processes
Standardization and best practices are supported through the use of a two-level templating system at both a task and group level. A template can define an individual task, such as .Set up PC workstation,. and a template group can be set up that includes all of the IT setup tasks for a new employee. When using a template group, only one user action is required to automatically initiate all of the component tasks. There is no limit to the number of templates or template groups used, and both are entirely configurable by your users.

Automatic Reminders
Faster onboarding processes increase productivity and reduce "failure to launch" scenarios that cause traumatic short-term attrition. Automatic email task notifications help to ensure that task owners, whether a member of the HR staff, the IT department, managers, or the new employees themselves, complete all assigned tasks in a correct and timely manner.
